Dear Parkway Youth Hockey Families,
As a follow-up to our email on January 13, 2021, the Board of Directors voted to conduct our 2021 annual election electronically on April 13, 2021, the date of our Annual Meeting from 6 PM - 9 PM, the traditional voting hours.
All fifteen (15) Board positions will be available. The top seven (7) finishers will receive a two-year term and the next eight (8) finishers will receive a one-year term. Following the missed election of 2020 due to the pandemic, this will put the program back on track to have eight (8) positions filled in even-numbered years and seven (7) positions filled in odd-numbered years.
The election will be conducted via the online platform Electionbuddy, which will send a ballot to your email address of record with the program. Please check your Parkway Youth Hockey account and remove all outdated or incorrect email addresses as the program will not be responsible for any ballot not received. Each program family is entitled to one (1) vote. Volunteers over the age 18 are entitled to an additional vote. The program is compiling a list of eligible candidates and may require an additional email address.
